The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa is an Apple Vacations five-gold-apples rated hotel, meaning it is better than most hotels in the area for service and amenities, but it is also “Value Plus,” making it a bargain comparatively. This resort has everything to make a terrific Hawaiian vacation.

About Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa

The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa resides along the 23 acres of the popular Maui beach, Ka’anapali Beach. But it is also towers over Black Rock, an 80-foot rising lava bed that is known as a snorkelers paradise.

The hotel itself holds 510 rooms and suites, featuring Hawaiian décor and furniture custom-made for the Sheraton Maui. The surrounding landscape is covered in palm trees and tropical vegetation. It is 28 miles from Kahului Airport and only 3 miles from Kapalua Airport.

Activities

There are a myriad of activities for guests of the Sheraton Maui, but the most unique to the resort has to be the snorkeling. The Black Rock off Ka’anapali Beach provides visitors with some of the best snorkeling Hawaiian vacations have to offer. For an additional fee, you can rent snorkeling equipment and take a guided tour of the reef or explore on your own.

Besides the Pacific, there is also a 142-yard meandering freshwater lagoon that winds around the lush garden and under rustic wooden footbridges, before feeding into the main pool. There is also a kid’s pool, outdoor spa and two outdoor bars.

For a taste of Hawaiian culture, the Sheraton Maui provides Hawaiian crafts and dancing.

If you want to stay active, there is instructed Yoga and Aquacise Pilates classes. For individual workout, go for a stroll on the jogging trail or use the weightroom with Nautilus equipment.

Other exciting activities to enjoy on Hawaiian vacation include scuba diving, windsurfing, Jetskii rentals, and paddle boats.

After filling up on a delicious meal in the evening, Sheraton Maui resort entertains with a nightly torch lighting and cliff diving ceremony with traditional Hawaiian music and hula dancing.

Dining Options

The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa offers excellent options for meals within their three on-site restaurants. Keka’a Terrace is a casual dining area with both indoor and outdoor seating that serves a breakfast buffet and ala carte for lunch and dinner. Lagoon Bar serves poolside BBQ for lunch. Tepan Yaki Dan has exclusive culinary treats for intimate dining, including Japanese cuisine, succulent steaks, and seafood.
