Do the Bride and Groom usually have a separate “intro song” than the bridal party?

Lexi Wants To Know:

We’re having “Get the Party Started” by Pink play when the wedding party enters the reception hall. Should the Bride (me) and the Groom walk in during the same song or should they have their own??? Also, got any suggestions for the song? Is it better to have something fun, with a beat? Or something more romantic?

I’m a deejay, and every couple does it differently.

The last wedding I did, the couple used, “Get the Party Started” by Pink for the wedding party entrance, but for the bride and groom’s entrance they used Fergie’s song, “Clumsy.”

Best wishes to you on your upcoming day!

I think you all could walk in with the same song. It definitely should be a fun song.

I didn’t know people walked in on songs personally.

most of the time the wedding party inters with no music at all, its not their day its yours. So the music should be for you and your hubby. The party really gets rolling when you two walk in the room. Fun and up beat is the best for entry and romantic music for dancing.

Most definitely, your entrance song us supposed to get the party started!!

We are actually having an individual song for each “couple”
Think of something like Kevin Rudolph’s song Let it Rock for an entrance… or Just Dance by Lady Gaga
