What is the best place to do a honeymoon?

Wiz asked:

Me and my financee are getting married around August, and we are trying to figure out a good place to do our honeymoon. We want some place that is going to be beautiful, warm (enough for swimming), clear water beaches, basically the stereotypical honeymoon. There are a lot of places, such as Hawaii, Cancun, Caribbean, etc, and I don’t know what the best choice would be. We are trying to keep it under $2,000, even if that means only staying 4 nights instead of a whole week. Can anyone help me out here?

I would go for a secluded cabin in the Smoky Mountains. Look for one with a mountain view and a hot tub (better than a beach! Leave the swimsuit in the luggage.) Blended drinks, a fireplace (so what if it’s August) and just the two of you..

Oh wow, under $2,000? Hm. Well there are so many choices! I’m not sure if they’ll fit that criteria though…maybe you should just stay in the states so it can be under 2,000? Maybe just go to destin, florida or just instead of going to the beach go to the mountains! But if you do want to go to the beach, maybe you can try Maui or go to the dominican republic!

    Life’s too short!

My idea is not going to be under 2,000 dollars but you may save money in the long run. Your could go on a seven-day cruise somewhere warm. I love crusing and the nice thing is once you pay for the cruise you pay for your meals to. I think it would be an amazing honeymoon.

i recomend cozumel. its like cancun but cleaner and less tourist-y. I love it there! a nice hotel is el presidente. its so pretty, the corridor looks like a rainforrest and your rooms opens up to the beach where you can lay in a hammock and the cabana boys bring you drinks and food! When we went we spent about 3,000 for a family of four. and we stayed a week. that included airfare. if you can go through AAA they planned our entire trip. good luck and congrats

You could stay somewhere in California at a nice hotel or in Florida or even some place in Mexico you can also look into cruises. Try and find something that would work for you.

try Sandals in Jamaica or somewhere… It’s all-inclusive and I am pretty sure you can go for under 2,000

Napa Vally is really pretty and there’s several bed and breakfasts around catering to honeymooners.

You could also consider a Disneyworld trip.
