Actually chicken, lamb and fish are great, low fat food. It's the sauces that are the problem. If you try going light on the extra sauce, that will remove most of the calories. Also try to cut the white rice portion a bit if possible.

Occasions come and go. It is really what you do in between that cause the problems. In your own home you should be able to control your consumption.

You will gain weight if you eat more calories than you waste.
If you don't exercise you will gain weight, there's not much you can do. You still have to eat.
Try to eat less.

But you don't need to stay five hours anyway to burn that off.
Sprinting will burn your calories and all you need to do is to do a sprint interval session.
You sprint/run a minute, or two and jog lightly for 30-60seconds.

That's Horrible. I have the same problem here. I eat alot of white rice/lamb/fish/chicken etc. because of my many food allergies. When I go to a wedding I can't eat what they serve, so I have to bring my own food. Perhaps you can do the same. I know I look like an idiot, and people stare at me, but it is their problem, not yours. If you want to lose weight, take control of your own body. Don't worry about "Being Rude."

It's that simple.
