Yes, I have once in the deep South. The song they played was great as well. I wanted a copy but they’ve since moved.
It was the BEST wedding I’ve been to.
I’ve been to several, but honestly found them long. They were more colorful and in that sense, it was more fun. I hated dressing up three times, and getting ready.
At least the music is generally better (as a Punjabi, you can never go wrong with Bhangra…I plan to have that in my wedding )
But in reality, I’m not a huge fan of Indian weddings, so I’m not going to have one for myself. I’m just going to have a few Indian elements in mine, but have it a very unique wedding (wearing lehnga choli, Indian music)
I’ve been to three indian weddings. One was in a Sikh temple, and the other two were in a Hindu temple. The contrast was so different. I couldn’t understand a word that was said.. but your right the after parties are FUNNNNNNNN!!
I agree, I love them! the after parties are always awesome too. I plan on having that style of wedding maybe, My boyfriend is from Pakistan.
never been to an indian wedding !! but i think someday i might !!
