Barcelona is a good choice. Lastminute.com have good hotel deals.
London can definetly be romantic.
If you are not already thinking pounds vs. dollars then think,
pounds are almost double what dollars are.
Multiply by 2.
Good luck.
Switzerland is gorgeous and well worth a visit… but it’s not cheap.
Paris can be done cheaply and it’s a great choice! The Eurostar is the fastest way there, but cheaper is Easyjet or any other low-cost airline (check out airninja.com to compare). I stayed at the auberge internationale des jeunes last time I was there- a very cheap hostel in a great location! but maybe you want something more romantic… but cost is 15 Euro/per person/ per night for your timeframe… it can’t be beat! and the rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the fellow travelers respectful. Food can be pretty cheap, public transport is very cheap compared to London, though less clean. I’d do Paris! The most expensive thing I bought was my museum pass!
but it depends on your wishes… if you want to see amazing art and history, do Paris or somewhere in Italy… if you just want to relax, nothing beats Amsterdam (though there’s less low-cost options than the major French/Italian cities).. congrats on the marriage! and have a great honeymoon wherever you are!
