Holly McFadden Wants To Know:
Im having a wedding reception on a Saturday night from 8-11, that is kind of late for kids but I am allowing them there, there will be some drinking, not alot(hopefully). Alot of the guests dont know one another and I am hoping to have something going on that will let everyone get aquainted. Also, the wedding is a private wedding, only bride and groom so noone will be at that. Any ideas? Please!

I think make sure theres some background music on, maybe run a little slideshow of photos to entertain people, and if possible, make sure the venue is smaller rather than bigger – that way everyone will tend to mix in easier
All you need are drinks and music, people will mingle and socialize on their own. I would advise against planning any group activities, people find that cheesy and uncomfortable.
