What is the best place for our honeymoon?
Discussion Corner — By NikhilBhide on December 5, 2005 at 14:48
Spring love asked:
We are getting married in September 08, and live on the east coast in VA. We are looking for a honeymoon that is not overly expensive, has great snorkeling, and we also want to go sport fishing. We just would like to go to a nice quiet white sandy beach where we are not bothered by locals to buy their products, and that is not kid oriented. Any experiences or thoughts? We would really like to go to a carribean island, hopefully somewhere that speaks English since we aren’t too up on our foreign languages!
Thanks in advance for you help!
Oh and we would also like an all inclusive hotel! Thanks!

Culebra, Puerto Rico is a postcard perfect place. Small, not many people you will find beautiful beaches that are almost “private”, exellent fresh seafood, pick boat and captain for fishing or sight-seeing as well as snorkeling and diving. Small number of tourist, very economical on the pockett. From Fajardo, on the east coast of Puerto Rico you can take a ferry, for less than $5. dollars to Culebra. I suggest you book a room before going there, most places are priced very reasonably.
Many wonderful places to honeymoon in the Caribbean but they are not all-inclusive.
You want great snorkeling and sport fishing. My suggestion would be Sandals in the Bahamas. Here is a link
The fishing and snorkeling are the best. We did both and I will never forget our time in the Bahamas.
My second suggestion would be Cozumel, Mexico. Many all-inclusive in Cozumel. Here is a link. My favorite is Cozumel Palace
Enjoy and congratulations)
Try the US Virgin Islands…St. John
I would say the best from my experiences is Aruba. Try looking at for the Tamarijn Aruba All inclusive resort. It’s a low rise hotel, all rooms are oceanfront. You literally walk from your room onto the beach. The sand is sugar white, the ocean is calm and turquoise, and there are virtually no vendors bothering you at all. You don’t have to spend another cent if you choose. Everything is included. English is spoken everywhere.
MEXICAN BEACHES ARE SUPER NICE…
DON”T WORRY ABOUT THE LANGUAGE ..
MAZATLAN
ACAPULCO
Cambridge Ontario, Canada. its awesome.
the best place to go for honeymoon is Venice…nothing like that..for more information visit.:
My parents were married in the U.S. Virgin Islands (specifically St. Thomas and St. John). They absolutely adored it. However, September is hurricane season, so it could be a bit risky.
My pick would be Bermuda. Tourism has not yet destroyed this haven of white (and even pink) sandy beaches, with little untouched coves at every turn. It is really phenomenal.
Hope this helps!
take a cruise to Cozumel
