robyndebitch Wants To Know:
Im getting married and in order to see the bride and groom kiss we are putting lists on the tables (every table will be different) but what can i put on the lists?
On each table we place a card with a list of several items. Your guests must produce one of these items to have the bride and groom kiss. Make the items unusual….toothpick, matches, q-tip, poppy, baby soother, 1958 penny, needle and thread.
We need more ideas!!
Thanks so much

That sounds very distracting for your guests and childish…are you sure about this?
What CRAP! Is this a circus! I guess so.
I have never heard of this is this something you made up or is it some tradition
If you want to discourage the annoying “glass tapping” for yet another kiss that turns what should be an elegant and festive dinner into a childish game, then instruct your DJ or band to handle this. They have several tactics up their sleeves, including “auctioning off” the privilige of having a kiss performed especially for a guest — with bidding starting at $20 per kiss.
I like this question
Here are suggestions:
eraser
colored pencil
CD case
light bulb
cell phone charger
post-it
head phones
scissors
85 paged book (page may be different)
blue marker (color may be different)
2 dollar bill
bungie cord
TV remote
cross word puzzle for the news paper
hay
air freshener
empty envelope not used
bathing suit
maple syrup
dollar coin
high lighter
Gameboy
yellow ribbon (color may be different)
macaroni
paper clip
Have fun and congrats (hope i get best answer)
Sorry but that is a lame idea. Most people won’t have any of those items on them. Women tend to downgrade their purses and only keep the necessities in them
i saw these really cute place cards with a little bell on them– and the cards say, ring to see the couple kiss! they’re sweet. i think they were on theknot.com.
i think your creativity is really good. but — the bride and groom would have to see those things to kiss– and they’re going to be at their table, right? it’s going to be such a blur– make it easy on yourself!
I really like this idea, it’s like making it a game!
Try an out of state drivers license or a wedding favor from another wedding.
You can also make them do something embarrassing in front of everyone too. Best talent wins kind of thing.
Never heard of party games at a wedding. It is really poor taste. The bride and groom does not have to wait until anyone gives them permission to kiss.
That’s lame. Most people just “tink” their glasses with their silverware.
You do NOT want baby items on anyone’s table during your reception – unless the bride’s already showing.
Why would you want random stuff to have people watch you kiss? That’s kinda lame. No offense.
